Apparatus Bluetooth speaker mount
A removable Bluetooth speaker mount uses existing apparatus hardware without permanent cab modification and releases without tools for charging.

The problem
A real need in a specific operating environment.
A portable speaker needed a secure, predictable location in the apparatus cab without drilling new holes, interfering with occupied space, or making the speaker difficult to remove for charging.
The application
Designed around how the result would be used.
The mount had to work around the existing overhead structure, tolerate apparatus vibration and heat exposure, and support frequent tool-free removal.
The process

Document the speaker geometry, existing mounting hardware, overhead clearance, and removal path.

Design a friction-fit cradle and mounting interface around the existing apparatus fasteners.

Prototype the retention and removal features, then refine the contact points for a secure fit.

Manufacture the final mount in UV-resistant ASA and validate it in the cab.
The final product
Apparatus integration.
The finished mount secures the speaker overhead, keeps the cab organized, and lets the speaker release without tools while leaving the apparatus structure unchanged.
