Founder

David Olney

David is a career firefighter, volunteer fire captain, county hazmat team lieutenant, fire instructor, chemical engineer, materials engineer, product designer, and fabrication engineer.

After years spent on apparatus, emergency scenes, in fire stations, and in training environments, he repeatedly encountered equipment and organization problems that deserved better solutions. Designing those solutions for himself and fellow firefighters became the foundation of Emergent 3D.

The company now applies that same practical engineering approach to standardized products, department projects, and custom manufacturing.
